K3 coating extends life 3-4x versus uncoated — 8-12 weeks of satisfying tone typical. Round-core construction provides flexible feel and quick settling time. Break strength is good at standard gauges.

Coating provides strong humidity resistance — tropical players see the largest practical benefit versus uncoated alternatives. The K3 formula is also less prone to flaking than older coating tech.
