Kalium's calling card is balanced tension — custom gauge math means every string pulls with similar force, so the low B is tight rather than floppy and the high E isn't overly loose. On an Ibanez RG 7-string this translates to consistent pick attack across all seven strings, no weak-feeling mid-strings, no flubby low end. Tonally the set sits in typical Nickel Wound territory — the engineering is what sets it apart, not the voice.
